Pain is a good teacher. The physical and the em— oh, you don’t have emotions either…not really. *He swears you have them on some rudimentary level, though!*

/He seems to like that, as he tugs a little at your finger / I am fascinated by death though. Especially in organics. Non-organic beings are not as interesting when they pass.

Organics do strange things when they die. The secretions in their throat builds up until their breath gurgles. Most of them look like fish at the very end with the mouth opening and closing as they breathe. Then they just….stop.

I know, their bodies stop working properly so it isn’t quite so instant as it is with robotic type species.

That’s why organics are weak.

*looks oddly at you* It can take a spark while to extinguish in a damaged body. It’s a miserable way to go.

I used to see it that way once.

Now, I just view pain as weakness leaving the body. Why can’t you feel it at all? *curious again*

It would be counterproductive to feel pain; pain is for mortals to let them know they are dying or in danger of dying. I cannot die, so it is not exactly something I need.
